Second prototype of the Spider chair with an upgraded reclined seat
During fall 2018, I upgraded the not so functional first prototype, with a fixed reclined seat also out of maple bent lamination and weaved with cotton rope.
I changed the first hybrid reclinable version for a vintage steal BMX stem as the joining piece for the new seat. The central aluminum post allows to switch different seat configurations to the base, either fixed or movable.
The result is a completed functional reading chair, which makes me pretty happy.
